SUMMARY:UNEA-6
DESCRIPTION:The sixth session of the United Nations Environment Assembly will focus on how multilateralism can help tackle the triple planetary crisis of climate change\, nature and biodiversity loss\, and pollution and waste. The overall theme for UNEA-6 is “Effective\, inclusive and sustainable multilateral actions to tackle climate change\, biodiversity loss and pollution”. \nUNEA-6 will be preceded by a meeting of the Open-ended Committee of Permanent Representatives\, which will help lay the groundwork for the Assembly. The sixth meeting of the Open-ended Committee of Permanent Representatives will be held from 19 to 23 February 2024.
