DESCRIPTION:The AfA Dog and Cat Coalition (DACC) provides a centralized space to address dog and cat welfare issues in Asia by bringing together organizations of all sizes\, from grassroots organizations to multinational NGOs\, and fostering collaborations to allow for wider impact.\nDACC was established in response to conversations with different network members regarding the challenges they face in their work for dogs and cats\, including population control\, the dog and cat meat trade\, and public awareness.\n\n\n\n\nThe purpose of this workshop is to meet shelters where they are at by understanding their on-the-ground needs and translating existing best practices into simple\, achievable approaches that match the realities Asian shelters face.
