Silvia Mantilla

As WFA's Communications Manager, Silvia coordinates the implementation of the Federation's communication strategy.

With over ten years’ worth of experience leading strategic communications and partnership development efforts for various United Nations agencies and programmes, Silvia has delivered successful communication campaigns on peace and development issues across three continents.

A political scientist by education, Silvia graduated from the Pontificia Universidad Javeriana in Colombia before pursuing her postgraduate studies at the Università Iuav di Venezia in Italy. She lives in Berlin with her partner and three rescued Bangladeshi and Filipino furry friends: Bella, Mono, and Tigris.
