Cha Almeida
Cha Almeida is the Grant, Donor and Member Development Officer at WFA, where she
supports resource mobilisation through grants, donor partnerships, and membership
development. She leads end-to-end grant and donor engagement and helps expand WFA’s
global membership by identifying and cultivating organisations aligned with the Federation’s
goals and strategic priorities.
Working closely with the Chief Development Officer, Cha helps translate WFA’s advocacy and
policy work into sustainable funding opportunities that strengthen the federation’s long-term
impact.
She brings nearly a decade of experience in the development sector across government,
NGOs, and social enterprises. Prior to joining WFA, she was Corporate Partnerships Manager
at World Wide Fund for Nature-Philippines (WWF). She also served as the Secretariat Lead for
ARISE-Philippines, a UNDRR-led private-sector alliance advancing disaster risk reduction and
resilience in the Philippines.
Cha holds a Bachelor’s degree in Communication Arts from De La Salle University–Laguna and
a graduate degree in Development Management, with a concentration in Policy and
Transformation, from the Asian Institute of Management.
