The World Federation for Animals proudly welcomes three new member organisations, expanding our network to 78 members across Africa, Asia, and Europe. These diverse organisations bring valuable expertise and unique approaches to animal welfare advocacy. Let’s meet our new members:

1. ACTAsia (Full Member)

ACTAsia works across Asia to promote compassion for animals, sustainable living, and empathy through education. Their innovative programs include Caring for Life Education in schools, professional training for veterinarians, and sustainable fashion advocacy. They’ve reached millions through their comprehensive approach to creating lasting social change. Discover their initiatives at https://www.actasia.org/

2. Freedom for Animals (Associate Member)

Based in Israel, Freedom for Animals campaigns against the exploitation of animals in captivity. Their work includes investigating animal welfare issues, public education campaigns, and advocacy for stronger protection laws. They focus particularly on ending live exports and advocating against factory farming. Visit them at https://freedom4animals.org/

3. Compromiso Verde (Associate Member)

Operating in Latin America, Compromiso Verde focuses on environmental conservation and animal protection through shifting producers, legislation and public support towards sustainable, compassionate practices. Their innovative programs political advocacy, public awareness campaigning and corporate campaigning. Learn about their approach at https://compromisoverde.org/

Together, these new members strengthen our collective ability to promote animal welfare worldwide, sharing knowledge and resources across borders while addressing both local and global challenges in animal protection.
